Support Strathcona County Fire Fighters Rooftop Campout to raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy Canada!

To show their support for people with neuromuscular disorders, Strathcona County Fire Fighters are organizing their 3rd annual Campout to raise awareness and funds to help ‘make muscles move’.  Once again, a group of intrepid Strathcona County Fire Fighters will be camping in the snowy, icy embrace of winter atop Fire Station #1 located in the heart of Sherwood Park, collecting donations from the public to support Muscular Dystrophy Canada, as well as increasing community awareness for those affected by neuromuscular disorders.  The money raised by Strathcona County Fire Fighters will be donated to improve the quality of life for people living with neuromuscular disorders by purchasing mobility equipment, providing support services, and funding research, which will one day lead to a cure.

DATE: February 21- 24, 2012

LOCATION: Fire Station #1, 1933 Sherwood Drive, Sherwood Park, AB
