Meet our York Region Walk for Muscular Dystrophy Ambassador

Hank Rozema is hosting this event and will be there to greet you at the walk!

I was 6 years old when I was diagnosed and I got involved in the Walk4MD because I wanted to go out and meet new people who have also been dealing with muscular dystrophy. I feel the Walk for Muscular Dystrophy will benefit my family and community by raising both awareness and funds for Muscular Dystrophy Canada.

My Favourite memory of a previous Walk was being able to spend a beautiful spring day with my close family and cousins and being able to just go out and have fun. The atmosphere is always great and everyone feels included and welcomed! For anyone participating for the first time, I would tell them to come out and just have fun!

I am walking for all my friends, family and everyone else who is affected by a neuromuscular disorder.
